(GSM) – Saturday’s Dutch top clash between defending champions Twente and current leaders Ajax ended in a 2-2 draw.
Twente drew first blood at their home stadium, with Theo Janssen directing an effort past Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the 11th minute.
But minutes later, Mounir El Hamdaoui leveled the score after a shot from a teammate came back from the post.
Janssen then restored Twente’s lead in the 62nd minute but Ajax again did not need long to respond as Cameroonian Eyong Enoh’s distance strike left keeper Mihaylov stranded.
Second-placed PSV received Groningen, who are currently in third place. Swedish striker Ola Toivonen scored the opening goal for PSV in the 63rd minute but it was not enough as Gonzalo Garcia netted for 1-1 with two minutes to go.
AZ, who last week finally got their first win of the season, added a second in a home match with Utrecht. The winning goal came from Rasmus Elm in the 42nd minute.
