Udinese chief says Isla going nowhere

Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini has moved to deny reports that Mauricio Isla will be joining Roma in January.

The Chilean full-back has been attracting a lot of attention with his performances this season, with Roma one of the interested clubs.

However, Udinese sporting director says that Isla, or any other Udinese player for that matter, is unlikely to leave in January.

“Isla to Rome? I am not aware of Roma’s plans or any other club,” Larini told Radioles.

“Right now, we want our players to give their best for Udinese. Taking about the market right now does not really make any sense.

”I don’t think that anyone will leave in January. Our signing plans are another matter, we could bring two or three players.”
