(GSM) – Udinese’s Serie A encounter with Cagliari at Stadio Friuli scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been postponed due to the cold-snap sweeping Europe and will be played at a later date.
“As a result of adverse weather conditions and in order to preserve the safety of children, we inform you that the league meeting between Udinese and Cagliari is postponed,” read a statement on club website www.udinese.it.
The match is the third to succumb to the wintry weather in Italy so far this weekend, with today’s scheduled games between Fiorentina and AC Milan and Bologna and Atalanta also postponed.
