Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo has confirmed that the club are prepared to cash in on star players Mehdi Benatia and Maurizio Isla.
The Zebrette players are heavily linked with a summer exit from Friuli, and a number of high-profile clubs are showing interest in their services.
Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the two players, but it appears that Napoli are leading the race at the moment.
“Isla and Benatia to Napoli? Of course, with the Azzurri president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, the contacts are frequent, but it is now premature to talk about the transfer market, we will have to reassess at the end of the season,” Giampaolo Pozzo said to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Now, we aim to finish the season in the best possible way, and we will evaluate any offers later.”
Mehdi Benatia is playing his second season for Udinese, and the Moroccan is widely regarded as one of the best central defenders in Serie A.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a January move to Arsenal, but he eventually remained at Friuli.
Maurizio Isla, on the other hand, is currently sidelined through injury, but he has already done enough to attract attention from major European clubs.
The 23-year-old can cover a number of positions in defence and midfield, and the Chilean is currently valued at €15 million, just like his Moroccan teammate.
