Udinese’s Allan nears Napoli switch

Serie A giants Napoli are closing in on Udinese midfielder Allan, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.

The Azzurri have seen Walter Gargano leave for Monterrey and with Gokhan Inler also expected to be on the move, they are determined to recruit a high-profile central midfielder.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are close to reaching an agreement with Udinese over Allan, with the deal believed to be worth €12 million.

The Brazilian have enjoyed several very successful campaigns with Friulani and he is now set to cash in on some very good displays in Italian Serie A.

Allan, 24, was signed for mere €3 million from Vasco da Gama three years ago and he went on to make 104 Serie A outings for the Zebrette.

The holding midfielder has yet to receive his first Brazil call-up, but national team debut should be on the cards of his excellent performances continue.
