Watching the European Championship qualifiers make their return on Thursday, Group B promises us another action-packed fortnight of drama.

With two separate European icons going head-to-head in their bid to book an automatic route out of Group B, we also have a string of intriguing European Championship betting markets that are worth taking note of.

Ahead of what could be a defining fortnight of action from Group B, we have created your ultimate guide for the next two weeks and have taken a glance at some of the EURO 24 betting tips that are available this month.

Who is leading the chase in Group B?

While France might have suffered major World Cup final heartbreak at the hands of Argentina out in Qatar over the winter, Les Bleus certainly haven’t shown any signs of a hangover since opening their European Championship qualifying adventure.

Only continuing on a stellar Group B romp this year and underlining their status as one of world football’s elite, France Didier Deschamps’ superstar squad find themselves firmly sat in pole position to wrap up top spot without breaking much of a sweat.

Marking their return to EURO 24 qualifying duties on Friday night holding a commanding six-point buffer at the top of the Group B table, the former world champions are already priced as low as 1/7 with Luckster to punch their ticket to Germany as Group B winners.

The Group B Players to Keep an Eye on

With Group B housing some of Europe’s very elite, we have taken a look at two attacking superstars that will be looking to make another statement this month.

Kylian Mbappe – France & PSG

If France are to lay down yet another EURO 24 qualifying marker this month and wrap up their ticket to Germany with a flurry, there is no doubt that a certain Kylian Mbappe will have another crucial role to play.

While PSG might have struggled to find any kind of stability since appointing new boss Luis Enrique over the summer, Mbappe has only continued on yet another record-breaking flurry and the ex-Monaco starlet has only cemented his spot as France’s poster boy.

Already mustering four strikes in his five Group B appearances this year, France’s new skipper will be looking to extend on his international romp and make another statement of intent over the next fortnight.

Wout Weghorst – Netherlands & Hoffenheim

With the Netherlands unable to call upon attacking stars such as Atletico Madrid marksman Memphis Depay and Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo this month, it appears that Wout Weghorst will once again be handed the chance to spearhead Holland’s Group B charge.

While the ex-Burnley star might have endured a sluggish loan spell at Premier League giants Manchester United last season, Weghorst has proven to be a key performer while on international duties.

Although the 31-year-old might still be waiting to open his account for Hoffenheim since making the move to Germany this summer, Weghorst did find the net in back-to-back Group B showdowns against Ireland and Greece last month and should have another key role to play during Holland’s final qualifying push.

Group B Match of the Week & Available Odds

In a showdown between two European giants who are steeped in history, it will certainly be France’s heavyweight trip to the Netherlands that will steal most of the qualifying headlines on Friday night.

Looking to officially wrap up top spot in Group B with an iconic statement on foreign soil, Les Bleus will also be excited by their most recent showdown against Ronald Koeman’s inconsistent squad.

Putting in a stunning performance when they welcomed Holland to Paris back on March 24th as they cruised their way to a 4-0 romp, France will be desperate to produce a similar performance when they arrive in Amsterdam on Friday.

However, although the Netherlands will know that they face another stern examination here, the Oranges do hold a stellar recent qualifying record on home soil. In fact, the Netherlands have won each of their previous four qualifying showdowns in Amsterdam by an aggregate score of 14-1.

Netherlands vs France Best Betting Tip

Marking their return to Group B action on Friday night with a stellar 100% winning record, France will be desperate to officially wrap up their qualifying romp with a heavyweight statement away from Paris.

While the Netherlands might still be pencilled in at 1/6 with Vegas Land to mark their return to the major tournament stage this year, Holland will be more than aware that they face another stern examination on Friday night.

Blown away by that nightmare 4-0 drumming when they last met Les Bleus back on March 24th, it is also worth highlighting that France have come out victorious in six of their last seven meetings across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to June 2008.
