According to a recent report from L’Equipe, the future of Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti isn’t quite as certain as it may have once appeared. The defender, who is said to be a target for Arsenal amongst a series of other top clubs, would also consider a move to Lyon if he did decide to make the move away from the Nou Camp.
Umtiti has seemingly been bouncing back and forth between staying and leaving for longer than most of us care to remember, with Barcelona themselves not even really being all too certain as to what the next step was going to be for him.
When he arrived at the club he was being positioned as the next big thing at the back for the club, but it hasn’t quite worked out that way in the long run.
If he does leave, the question remains as to what Barcelona would do to try and replace him.
