Umtiti to leave Barcelona?

According to a recent report from Sport, Monaco, Nice and Besiktas are all interested in trying to sign Samuel Umtiti on loan from Barcelona.

Umtiti has been part of the furniture at the Nou Camp since 2016 but now, it appears as if the French international is destined to make his departure from the club sooner rather than later.

Barcelona, in the eyes of many, are in the midst of something resembling a crisis with nobody really knowing what’s going to come next for them. Lionel Messi’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain was always going to hit them hard but it really does seem to have created a ripple effect that’ll take quite some time to get over.

Umtiti isn’t nearly as big of a piece of the puzzle as the Argentine, but his exit will almost certainly raise further questions about the direction the club is heading in heading into the future.
