Competition: Premier League
Market: Under 2.5 goals
Odds: 4/7 @ Bet 365
In a real relegation six-pointer, Cardiff will travel to a struggling Brighton on Tuesday night.
Starting with the hosts, shipping five against Bournemouth over the weekend in arguably their worst display of the season, Brighton know that they’re far from safe with five games to go. Sat with just a five-point buffer from trading places with the Bluebirds in the drop zone, Tuesday’s contest is being billed as the most important for Chris Hughton’s side this year. Sadly for the Seagulls, Brighton have now lost their last four outings and their form in the final third is becoming a huge cause for concern. The hosts have now gone over 400 minutes without finding the net and have also failed to score in four of their past six matches at the Amex.
As for the visitors, much like Brighton, Cardiff are enduring their own struggles at the back end of the season. Sat five points from safety and many believing that they’re destined for an immediate return to the Championship, Neil Warnock’s side have lost their last three matches on the bounce. A huge part of the Bluebirds’ issues this year has been their continued struggle in the final third, particularly on the road. Losing six of their last seven outside of South Wales, the Blues have also now failed to score an away goal since the start of February.
Bet: Under 2.5 goals at Brighton vs Cardiff 4/7 for Tuesday’s Premier League clash @ Bet 365
