Two sides who have continued to create a lack of chances in the final third, Finn Harps will welcome Bohemians to Finn Park on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, although Finn Harps may sit seven points adrift of safety entering the second half of the season, they appear to have finally found their feet. Coming off the back of a 2-1 win away at Linfield last weekend in a friendly matchup, a result that continued to boost the morale around Finn Park, Ollie Horgan’s side also secured back-to-back 1-0 victories over Derry City and Waterford. While the confidence around Ballybofey might be the highest it has been in recent memory, there still remains some concerns over the Harps’ creativity in the final third. Friday’s hosts have scored just two goals in almost 400 minutes of Premier Division action.

As for the visitors, coming off the back of another lackluster display in their 1-1 draw away at Sligo Rovers last weekend, Bohemians suddenly sit on the verge of losing their lucrative Europa League spot. Now picking up just a single victory since the end of June, Head Coach Keith Long will be growing more concerned by his sides’ recent performances on their travels. including only snatching a point away at Sligo last time out, Friday’s guests have failed to win any of their last three matches on the road and have scored just a single goal on that run of form.
