Competition: Scottish FA Cup

Market: Under 2.5 goals

Odds: 9/10 @ Bet 365

Playing out a 0-0 draw when the two sides met last week, Steven Gerrard Rangers side will host Kilmarnock in Wednesday’s FA Cup replay.

Starting with the hosts, after slumping to another worrying display in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with strugglers St. Johnstone, Rangers now find themselves sat eight points adrift of Celtic in the race for the Premiership title. Now drawing their last two matches on the bounce and failing to find the net in each game, Gerrard will be growing more concerned by the Blues form in the final third. Despite bringing in Jermain Defoe and having leading goalscorer Alfrado Morelos in their ranks, Rangers have only scored more than a single goal in one game at Ibrox in their last seven attempts. Given the cagey display at Rugby Park last week, the former England captain will be expecting another tough night’s work.

As for the visitors, although Kilmarnock showed plenty of heart to pick up their 0-0 draw last week, Steve Clarke’s side have struggled of late. Coming off the back of some late heartbreak thanks to Celtic’s winner in injury time on Saturday, they’re still looking for their first win since the 23rd of January. Now seeing any chance of a surprise title push ended by their poor run of form, Clarke will be most concerned by his own sides form in the final third. Failing to find the net in over 300 minutes of action, they have also managed to pick up just one win away from Rugby Park in their last seven outings.
