The World Youth Championship Group C clash between Cameroon and Korea Republic ended in a 2-0 victory to the Africans, with one goal in each half.

The match was played shortly after the game between Germany and United States, at As-Suwais Stadium in the city of Suez.

Cameroon took the lead through Andre Effa in the 19th minute and Germain Tiko doubled the advantage five minutes after the break.

Korea will need a good result against group leaders Germany on Tuesday to keep hope alive, while Cameroon meet with the USA in an attempt to secure their spot in the round of sixteen.
