Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Daniel James of Swansea City, according to Sky Sports.
The two clubs, meanwhile, still haven’t reached a figure acceptable for both sides to be the transfer fee, though it is believed that that matter is close to being resolved as well at around £15 million.
The 21-year-old winger was reportedly on the edge of joining Leeds United in January, and he even underwent a medical, but Swansea pulled the plug on the deal at the eleventh hour on deadline day.
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has named James in his Wales squad for the training camp in Portugal ahead of the upcoming matches against Croatia and Hungary in their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign. James scored his first international goal in a 1-0 win over Slovakia a couple of months ago.
There has been interest from other Premier League sides in his services, but United seem to be on the verge of getting it done early.
