United and PSG to battle for Varane

Varane, 19, is showing great maturity for his age, but it looks as though los Blancos could face a real battle to hold on to their prized asset.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been monitoring the player since he was at Lens and believes he would be a perfect replacement for Rio Ferdinand.

Meanwhile, free-spending Paris Saint-Germain are also showing interest, as they want to pair Varane with Thiago Silva.
