United eyeing Alberto Moreno
Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Sevilla full-back Alberto Moreno, reports Estadio Deportivo.
The Red Devils are actively searching for a long-term successor to Patrice Evra, with Everton’s Leighton Baines their number one target.
However, with the Toffees desperate to keep hold of their star player, United are also exploring other options.
And while Luke Shaw and Fabio Coentrao are also on their radar, the latest reports suggest the Old Trafford outfit could make a move on Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno.
The 21-year-old has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last year or so and he has already earned two Spain caps.
Given that his current employers are in serious financial difficulty, chances are they will not be able to resist a big money bid from Old Trafford.
Manchester United remained in 7th place in the Premier League standings following the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham and they are 11/8 for a top 4 finish.
Atletico linked to ‘next Kun Aguero’
Spanish daily newspaper Marca has learned that Atletico Madrid and Valencia are showing interest in San Lorenzo forward Angel Correa.
The youngster has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 4 goals and producing 3 assists in 19 league outings, helping the Argentine giants win the Apertura title.
His impressive displays did not go unnoticed as Atletico Madrid and Valencia are closely monitoring his development.
The 18-year-old has already earned comparisons with Sergio Aguero and is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in South America.
Correa did well to nail down a regular starting berth at San Lorenzo and has so far bagged 8 goals in 32 league matches.
And with top European clubs casting admiring glances his way, it is only a matter of time before the talented forward makes a switch to Europe.
Bordeaux set to sign Hoarau
L’Equipe is reporting that Bordeaux have agreed to sign French forward Guillaume Hoarau on a free transfer.
The former Paris Saint-Germain was heavily linked with a return to France after having his contract at Dalian Aerbin rescinded.
And L’Equipe now reports that les Girondins have managed to win the race for the player’s signature, with the 29-year-old set to sign a deal until June 2016 at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
After struggling for playing time at Parc des Princes, Hoarau decided to join Dalian Aerbin in January 2013, but his move to China did not work out as planned.
The experienced forward went on to score just 3 goals in 20 league appearances and last played for the club back in August.
He has since successfully ended his contract with Dalian and is now hoping to kick-start his career at Bordeaux.
