Manchester United are readying January bid for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto, Metro has revealed.
The Red Devils have learned that the 21-year-old will be available for as little as £6 million and they are ready to make a move in the winter.
David Moyes is looking to improve his options in the final third and he believes the Spaniard would be a good addition to the squad at Old Trafford.
Roberto has come through Barcelona’s famous youth school La Masia and has slowly been improving his status at the club.
After featuring in just three league matches over the course of last three seasons, the youngster has already amassed three league appearances this term, which is enough to suggest he is held in high regard by new boss Gerardo Martino.
Roberto will be hoping to play some part in the Champions League clash against Celtic on Tuesday, with the Catalans 1/3 to triumph at Parkhead.
