United keen on League Two youngster

Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Chesterfield midfielder Tendayi Darikwa, according to Metro.

The Red Devils boss David Moyes was spotted in the stands as Fleetwood Town hosted Chesterfield at the weekend, as he reportedly wanted to see the 21-year-old in action.

Manchester United are not the only Premier League side showing interest in the talented footballer, given that Tottenham, West Ham and Fulham are all thought to be keen.

The winger is the product of Chesterfield youth school and he has been showing a great deal of promise over the last year or so.

After scoring 5 goals in 36 league matches last term, Darikwa has made 11 league appearances this season, netting two times in the process.

Nottingham Forest are believed to be leading the chase at the moment, but Metro has suggested that David Moyes could bid up to £2 million for the youngster in January.
