United linked with Dragovic move

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic, according to the Metro.

The Austria international has made twenty-three appearances in all competitions so far this season, having moved to Kyiv in the summer from Swiss side Basel.

Having added a number of attacking players in the summer, Louis van Gaal is keen to strengthen his defence this month.

The United manager has been forced to blood youngsters Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett this season, with Marcos Rojo his only defensive addition prior to the start of the season.

Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar and Mats Hummels of Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with January moves to Old Trafford, though deals for either would be more likely to happen at the end of the current campaign.

United travel to League Two side Cambridge United in the fourth round of the FA Cup tomorrow evening, and are priced at 1/5 for the win.
