Manchester United have loaned Zoran Tosic to German club FC Cologne until the end of this season in a move that may signal the end of the Serbian winger’s stay at Old Trafford.

Tosic has failed to establish himself in Sir Alex Ferguson’s first-team squad since arriving 12 months go from Partizan Belgrade.

He has made just two appearances this season, against Barnsley and Tottenham in the League Cup.

The 22-year-old is however expected to be part of Serbia’s World Cup squad and believes he can still make the grade at United.

“I don’t believe I have had my final say at Manchester United,” he said. “Hopefully my performances with Cologne will be my ticket back to Old Trafford.”
