Manchester United continue to monitor Sporting Lisbon starlet William Carvalho, according to A Bola.
The squad at Old Trafford look set for a major overhaul in the summer and the Portugal international is reportedly high on club’s wish list.
Manchester United had scouts present as Sporting defeated Olhanense at the weekend, and everybody knows who was on their radar.
The Red Devils have scouted William Carvalho on several occasions this season, which is enough to suggest they could step up their interest in the summer.
The 21-year-old returned to Estadio Jose Alvalade last summer following a loan spell at Cercle Brugge, and he has since been in scintillating form, scoring 2 goals in 18 league outings.
William Carvalho, who was recently handed his Portugal debut, helped the Lions climb to third in the Primeira Liga standings, with Sporting 4/6 to continue the good run of results at Rio Ave next weekend.
