(GSM) – Saturday’s international friendly between the United States and Poland ended in a 2-2 draw, with Poland fighting back on two occasions.

Chicago’s Soldier Field was the setting for this encounter, which had been under way for 12 minutes when Josy Altidore put the home side in the lead.

Adam Matuschyk leveled on the half hour but Oguchi Onyewu restored the USA’s advantage seven minutes after the break.

The Polish visitors had the final say however as Borussia Dortmund’s Jakub ‘Kuba’ Blaszczykowski netted the equaliser in the 73rd minute.

The USA face Colombia in another friendly next Tuesday while Poland are scheduled to play against Ecuador the same day.
