United to make Young available for loan

Daily Mirror has suggested that Manchester United plan to offload Ashley Young in the January transfer window.

The former England international has had a pretty disappointing start to the season, and he hasn’t made a single appearance in team’s last four matches in all competitions.

According to Daily Mirror, manager David Moyes believes a short-term loan spell would help the player rediscover his form and is prepared to farm him out on loan in January.

There will be quite a few Premier League clubs willing to offer the winger a chance to kick-start his career, with Newcastle and West Ham believed to be leading the chase.

The 28-year-old hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth at Old Trafford since arriving from Aston Villa, having scored mere 6 goals in 48 Premier League appearances.

Manchester United return into action next Saturday as they play host to high-flying Southampton, and they are 4/7 to record the second victory on the bounce.
