United to move on from Wan-Bissaka to Aarons?

Manchester United have been trying hard to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace for a while now, but their efforts have been in vain so far. The last offer they made was reportedly one of £50 million, £35 million in advance plus £15 million in potential add-ons, but the Eagles are holding out for at least £45 million in advance.

Palace’s stand has apparently frustrated United to the point where they are prepared to look elsewhere for a new right-sided defender, and they have decided to step up interest in Max Aarons of Norwich City, according to Sky Sports.

The Canaries won the Championship last season and have earned promotion back into the Premier League, with Aarons one of the most notable members of the team. The 19-year-old impressed enough to win the EFL Young Player of the Year and attract the interest of a number of clubs in England’s top flight. Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with interest in his services.
