Ma Jun smacked a 10-meter volley past US goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart in the 37th minute to give China the lead.
But 21-year-old Morgan, who entered in the 71st minute, found the net off an pass from Abby Wambach for her first international goal and sent the US women into World Cup qualifying with nine wins and two draws in 11 tuneup matches.
The Americans, who have not lost to China since a 2-0 defeat in 2003, will open their bid for spot at the 2011 Women’s World Cup in Germany on October 28 against Haiti at Cancun, Mexico.
