talkSPORT understands that West Ham are among clubs showing interest in Rapid Wien striker Terrence Boyd.
The Hammers are desperate to reinforce their attacking options in January and the 22-year-old is one of the players they are looking at.
West Ham could, however, face a stiff competition for the player’s signature considering that Udinese, Lazio and Watford are also casting admiring glances his way.
German-born Boyd has come through the youth ranks at Hertha Berlin, where he spent three years playing for the reserves before joining Borussia Dortmund.
Despite scoring 20 goals in 32 league appearances for BVB reserve side, the talented footballer was allowed to join Rapid Wien, where he has finally experienced top flight football.
Boyd, who has nine USA caps to his name, has largely impressed in Austrian elite division, making 35 appearances for Rapid and scoring no less than 17 goals. He has already bagged 4 goals in 5 matches this term.
