CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love has revealed that he was contacted by Porto and Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The Russian giants are prepared to cash in on their star player and the Brazilian explains that he narrowly missed out on the summer transfer.
“This summer I had a proposal from Porto that CSKA considered too low and I was looked at by Paris Saint-Germain,” Vagner Love told O Globo.
“These are great teams, but it did not go any further.”
The Brazilian also confirmed that he is counting his last days in Moscow.
“I am very tired here, I built a relationship with the president and everyone at the club.
”I’m tired. Here, there is no pressure from the public or the press. Even when the team is eliminated in the Russian Cup by a team from a second division. I work better under pressure.
“I want new challenges. I love Moscow. I was very happy with CSKA, but I think my stint ends here.”
