Former CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love has revealed that he has agreed to join Brazilian giants Corinthians.
The 30-year-old had been looking for a new club after having his contract with Shandong Luneng terminated.
Vagner Love was offered to Palmeiras and Sao Paulo, but it was Cortinthians that ultimately won the race for his signature.
The experienced striker announced the news in a video posted on club’s Instagram account.
Vagner Love made a name for himself in Russia, playing for CSKA Moscow, where he scored a total of 85 goals in 173 league outings.
He also represented Palmeiras and Flamengo in native Brazil, before moving to China to sign a deal with Shandong Luneng.
The Brazilian fared pretty well in China’s top flight, making 31 appearances and scoring 19 goals.
Vagner Love represented Brazil between 2004 and 2007, earning 20 caps and netting 4 times in the process.
