Dynamo Moscow star Mathieu Valbuena has all but suggested that he will not be moving back to Marseille this summer.
Having stayed without the likes of Gignac, Ayew and Payet, OM are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and they are believed to have attempted to re-sign the France international.
With Dynamo Moscow banned from taking part in European competitions next season, it was believed that Valbuena would consider returning to Stade Velodrome, but he has now poured cold water on rumours linking him with Marseille switch.
“It was mentioned, I have kept a good relationship with the club, but it is complicated for a lot of reasons, and I think the door is closed regarding OM,” Valbuena told reporters after helping Dynamo defeat Monaco in a pre-season friendly by scoring the only goal in a 1-0 triumph.
The France star has enjoyed a very good debut season in Russian Premier League, having managed 4 goals and 15 assists in 36 competitive outings.
Valbuena, 30, has become a very important player for the France national team of late, and is expected to play a key role at the Euro 2016.
