Valencia agree deal for Aderlan Santos

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that Valencia have agreed a deal to sign Aderlan Santos from Sporting Braga.

Los Che were desperate to recruit a quality centre-back following the departure of Nicolas Otamendi, and they are set to add the 26-year-old to their ranks.

Nevertheless, Valencia still hope to sign Aymen Abdennour from Monaco and they could send their new signing to Stade Louis II as a way of lowering the €28 million asking price for the Tunisian.

Aderlan Santos has spent last three years at Sporting Braga having joined on a free transfer from Trofense, making a total of 67 league appearances for the club.

Meanwhile, Aymen Abdennour has been linked with quite a few top sides over the past few months and he was left out of Monaco’s Champions League play off matches against Valencia due to the fact he was set to leave the club for greener pastures.
