Spanish daily newspaper Superdeporte has learned that a number of Europe’s top clubs are keeping close tabs on Midtjylland winger Pione Sisto.
The Ugandan-born midfielder has been putting in some strong performances in Denmark’s top flight and it appears it is only a matter of time before he joins a top European club.
According to Superdeporte, Spanish giants Valencia are among clubs showing interest in the 20-year-old, with Lille, Lyon, Porto, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus, Napoli, Everton, Aston Villa, Werder Bremen, Hoffenheim and Trabzonspor reportedly sending scouts to make a check on Sisto.
The youngster is widely regarded as one of country’s hottest prospects and he is currently a member of Denmark’s Under-21 squad.
Sisto has already nailed down a regular starting berth at Midtjylland, and currently has 7 goals in 17 league appearances this season.
The youngster is likely to be the subject of heavy interest from abroad in the summer transfer window, and could easily leave his current employers at the end of the season.
