Valencia announce the signing of Adil Rami

Valencia CF have officially announced the signing of Lille defender Adil Rami.

The French international will remain at Lille on loan until the end of the season, when he will meet up with his new teammates.

The La Liga outfit didn’t disclose the official transfer figures but is thought los Che will pay around €6 million for the Frenchman, with Rami signing a three-year contract.

The 25-year-old Rami, who also holds a Moroccan nationality, is recognized as one of the best defenders in Ligue 1 and he is already considered a first team regular in France national team.

Rami has started all six games under Laurent Blanc and his partnership with Philippe Mexes is one of the main reasons behind les Bleus’ recent uptrend in fortunes.
