Superdeporte has learned that Valencia stopper Nicolas Otamendi has become the subject of interest from top European clubs.
The Argentine defender has enjoyed an excellent start to his career at Mestalla and is already regarded as one of La Liga’s top centre-backs.
Otamendi once again proved his worth with an impressive display in the 2-0 defeat to Barcelona at Camp Nou and los Che clearly face a tough task of keeping hold of his services in the summer.
It is no secret that Manchester United are keen on the former FC Porto star, while other top clubs could come forward with official proposals as well.
Otamendi is reportedly happy at Mestalla and has a €50 million release clause in his contract, meaning it would take a mega money offer for Valencia to sell their prized asset.
The 27-year-old has proved a major threat in the opposition box in addition to impressing in defence, having bagged 3 goals in 29 La Liga starts.
