La Liga fallen giants Valencia are stepping up interest in Benfica starlet Goncalo Guedes, according to reports from Portugal media outlet Record.
The 19-year-old winger has been described as one of the most promising youngsters in who has alarmed a number of Europe’s biggest clubs with his impressive performance for Benfica’s first team after emerging to the fold during last season.
Cuedes made the total of 18 Primeira Liga appearances last term and has so far added eight more in the top tier in Portugal, but is yet to score a goal for his side.
