(GSM) – Valencia have received a number of offers for their star winger David Silva according to club president Manuel Llorente. Silva has been linked with a host of European clubs and looks likely to follow David Villa out of the club.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are thought to be interested while Primera Division giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are rumored to be chasing the 24-year-old.
After selling world-class striker Villa to Barcelona, Llorente has conceded that Silva’s future will be discussed after the World Cup.
“Yes, some clubs have asked about David Silva,” he told skysports.com.
“This is normal because he is one of our key players and a Spain international. However, this subject is closed until the end of the World Cup.
“If we do receive a formal offer we will study it and decide what is best for the football club.”
