La Liga high-flyers Valencia have been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the permanent signing of forward Goncalo Guedes, Superdeporte can reveal.
Having seen the Portuguese winger impress in his maiden La Liga campaign, los Che decided to try and purchase his contract from PSG.
Even though the Saints initially wanted €90 million, Valencia chairman Peter Lim was not ready to give up and latest reports suggest that PSG have lowered the asking price to €40 million.
The two sides are now trying to agree a transfer fee and los Che want the deal wrapped up as quickly as possible before other interested sides have time to act.
Goncalo Guedes has clearly benefited from regular playing time at Mestalla, having produced 4 goals and 9 assists in 29 league outings this season.
