La Liga strugglers Valencia have joined the chase for Barcelona youngster Alen Halilovic, Superdeporte can reveal.
The 19-year-old was loaned to Sporting Gijon last summer in order to gain much needed first team experience and he has grabbed his chance with both hands.
After quickly becoming a key player for los Rojiblancos, Halilovic is now on the radar of top European clubs, with Barcelona ready to allow him to spend another season on loan.
The latest reports suggest that Valencia are looking to take advantage of the opportunity and bring the Croatia international to Mestalla in the summer transfer window.
Alen Halilovic had joined Barcelona from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2014, and he went on to score 4 goals in 30 league appearances for Barcelona B.
The talented midfielder continued the rich vein of form during his maiden La Liga campaign, having managed 3 goals and 5 assists in 29 league outings this season.
