La Liga side Valencia are considering a January bid for Marseille hotshot Nicolas N’Koulou, according to Superdeporte.
Los Che first attempted to recruit the Cameroon star last summer as they were looking to sign a replacement for Nicolas Otamendi, but ultimately decided to go with Aymen Abdennour.
The €8 million asking price at the time proved a stumbling block, but the latest reports claim Valencia have rekindled their interest in the talented defender.
Los Che have decided to recruit a quality centre-back in January and with N’Koulou’s deal due to expire in the summer, he is now available at a bargain price.
It is believed that Marseille would consider offers in the region of £2.5 million, as they want to avoid seeing another high-profile footballer leave on a free transfer.
Valencia are desperate to get their top 4 bid back on track and they are 66/1 shot to clinch Champions League qualification.
