Spanish La Liga high-flyers Valencia are considering a summer bid for Benfica goalkeeper Artur Moraes, according to Record.
Los Che have suffered a major blow as first choice keeper Diego Alves suffered a torn cruciate ligament, and he is, therefore, set to miss the first half of next season.
As a result, Valencia are in the market for a new shot-stopper and they appear to be hot on the trail of Benfica veteran Artur Moraes.
The 34-year-old will be out of contract in June, and he is seen as a good short-term solution, although clubs from Turkey, Italy and Brazil are also showing interest.
Artur Moraes joined Benfica on a free transfer from Sporting Braga four years ago and went on to make 85 league appearances for the Eagles.
The Brazilian has been playing second fiddle to compatriot Julio Cesar this season, but still managed to make 12 league outings.
