Valencia are showing interest in three Benfica youngsters, Spanish daily newspaper Superdeporte has revealed.
While los Che are in the market for high-quality players who would slot straight into the starting line-up, they are also looking towards the future.
According to Superdeporte, Valencia plan to recruit Benfica starlets Joao Cancelo, Bernard Silva and Ivan Cavaleiro.
All three players are represented by Jorge Mendes, an agent who is very close to new owner Peter Lim, so it is hardly surprising they are being linked with a summer switch to Mestalla.
Given that all three players are considered hot prospects for the future, it is believed it would take around €30 million to fund the purchase.
While Bernardo Silva, 19, and Joao Cancelo, 20, have only made one league appearance for the Eagles each, Ivan Cavaleiro, 20, has featured in eight league games and was in Paulo Bento’s provisional World Cup squad.
