Valencia eyeing Benfica winger

La Liga strugglers Valencia have been showing interest in Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic, according to Record.

Los Che plan to seriously reinforce the squad after what has been a largely disappointing campaign and the Serbian footballer is one of the players on their radar.

Valencia sporting director Jose Ramon Alexanko and technical director Vicente Rodriguez watched the youngster in action as Serbia Under-21 side defeated Sweden Under-21 side 2-0, with Zivkovic scoring the first goal of the game.

This is enough to suggest that los Che are seriously thinking about making a move for the 20-year-old, who recently started proving his worth at Estadio da Luz.

Andrija Zivkovic had a slot start to his career in Portugal after joining the club on a free transfer last summer, but he has since showed a great deal of improvement, and he has already produced 10 assists in just 20 competitive appearances for the club.
