Liverpool forward Iago Aspas is on the radar of La Liga side Valencia, that’s according to Daily Mirror.
The Spaniard has largely struggled to prove his worth since completing a £7 million move to Anfield in the summer, and he does not seem to have a long-term future at Liverpool.
Daily Mirror has learned that Valencia are prepared to offer him an escape route in January, with los Che readying a six-month loan deal.
Aspas was given a fair number of opportunities to impress in England after arriving from Celta Vigo, but he has shown very little in seven Premier League appearances.
With Daniel Sturridge set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Brendan Rodgers is not exactly spoilt for choices up front, although he is likely to consider loaning Aspas if he manages to sign a new forward in January.
Prior to joining the Reds, Aspas had scored 45 goals in 138 league appearances for the Sky Blues.
