Valencia eyeing Ilori move

Valencia are considering a loan move for Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori, according to TalkSport.

The 20 year old was brought in during the summer along with fellow defenders Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho and Aly Cissokho, but unlike his more senior counterparts is yet to make an appearance for the club.

Manager Brendan Rodgers may be willing to allow the former Sporting CP man to go out and gain some valuable first team experience with Miroslav Dukic’s side, who have let in seventeen goals in ten La Liga games this season.

Only Rayo Vallecano and bottom of the league Almeria have let in more than Los Che, who are currently seven points off the top four.

Valencia are available at a price of 4/1 to qualify for next seasons Champions League, having missed out to Real Sociedad by a single point last season.

The currently sit second to Swansea City in their Europa League group ahead of next week’s trip to Swiss club St Gallen.
