La Liga high-flyers Valencia are weighing up January bid for Inter Milan reject Joao Mario, according to O Jogo.
The Portugal international has utterly failed to justify a €40 million transfer fee and the Nerazzurri hope to cash in on the 24-year-old this winter.
A number of top clubs including Man Utd, PSG, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are believed to be keen on Joao Mario, but they have so far failed to submit suitable offers.
However, O Jogo claims that Valencia could now offer the attacking midfielder an escape route from San Siro Stadio, in case they receive a proposal they cannot refuse from China for Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The Frenchman is a target for free-spending Guangzhou Evergrande, who recently offered €45 million for his services, and los Che officials see Joao Mario as a potentially good replacement.
