Spanish giants Valencia are considering a move for Sporting Lisbon winger Andre Carrillo, O Jogo has learned.
Los Che have done most of their shopping in Portuguese Primeira Liga in recent years and they are now closely following the performances of the Lions star.
With Carrillo’s current deal at Estadio Jose Alvalade due to expire at the end of the season, Valencia aim to make their interest concrete in the winter transfer window.
And while Sporting Lisbon chiefs are adamant that the Peru hotshot has promised he would extend his current contract, los Che are keeping a close eye on the situation, ready to pounce if an opportunity arises.
Andre Carrillo, 24, has developed into a key player for the Lions, and has so far scored 11 goals in 110 league appearances for the club.
His suitors Valencia have had a relatively slow start to the new campaign, but they can be backed at 5/6 to defeat Zenit in the Champions League.
