Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia are hot on the trail of Lyon midfielder Sergi Darder, according to Marca.
Los Che are in the market for midfield reinforcements and they are exploring the possibility of recruiting the 23-year-old footballer.
Darder has done fairly well since joining Lyon from Malaga two years ago, amassing 49 league appearances, but he has struggled for playing time over the last few months.
Chances are that the midfielder would be interested in returning to Spanish La Liga, but it remains to be seen whether his employers will be prepared to let him leave.
Darder had come through the youth ranks at Malaga, and quickly established himself as a first team regular, making 63 La Liga appearances for the club.
A switch to Lyon helped him secure Champions League football, featuring in a total of 10 UCL games.
