Athletic Bilbao and Valencia shared the spoils following their encounter at San Mames in Bilbao on Sunday. The game saw four goals scored as Oscar de Marcos broke the deadlock for Bilbao in the 32nd minute, Fran Perez equalized for Valencia in the 62nd, Hugo Duro turned the contest around in the 68th, and Alejandro Berenguer Remiro made sure the visitors didn’t leave with all three points in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
Still, one of the best individual performers in this match was Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who made several superb saves.
