Spanish giants Valencia are set to open talks with FC Porto over talented full-back Diogo Dalot, according to Superdeporte.
The 18-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects and has already been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, among other clubs.
However, Valencia are now set to step up their interest as chairman Peter Lim will travel to Portugal to begin negotiations for Dalot.
Los Che have been in contact with FC Porto as they hope to recruit soon-to-be free agent Ivan Marcano, while they are also looking at Corona, Aboubakar, Marega, Brahimi and Pereira.
Diogo Dalot has yet to make a decision on his future as he has also been offered a new and improved deal by his current employers.
