La Liga high-flyers Valencia are stepping up their efforts to sign Spartak Moscow forward Quincy Promes, according to Marca.
Los Che plan to continue the recent uptrend in fortunes by further reinforcing their ranks in the summer and the Netherlands international has emerged as one of their top targets.
Valencia scouts have been closely monitoring the 26-year-old for some 18 months now and they made a new check when Spartak Moscow faced Athletic Bilbao at San Mames last Thursday.
Quincy Promes has been one of Russian Premier League’s star performers ever since he joined from Twente, going on to score 53 goals in 101 league appearances.
It is just a matter of time before the highly rated winger joins a top European club and Valencia could face competition from Liverpool and Juventus, among other sides.
