Valencia join race for Falcao
ESPN is reporting that La Liga giants Valencia are exploring the possibility of recruiting Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian is currently on loan until the end of the season at Manchester United, but even though the Red Devils have the option to buy, they are unlikely to exercise it.
According to ESPN, Valencia aim to take advantage of the situation and lure the striker to Mestalla, with their owner Peter Lim enjoying very good relations with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes.
But, while los Che plan to sign Falcao on loan with an option to buy, Monaco would prefer an outright sale.
Radamel Falcao joined Manchester United as a marquee signing in the summer, but he hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth in English Premier League.
The 29-year-old only netted 4 times in 16 league outings and he does not appear to be held in high regard by manager Louis van Gaal.
Dortmund eyeing Max Kruse
Borussia Dortmund are showing interest in Borussia M’gladbach striker Max Kruse, Bild + can reveal.
With both Ciro Immobile and Adrian Ramos struggling at the start of their careers at Signal-Iduna Park, Jurgen Klopp might decide to sign a new striker in the summer.
And Bild + has now revealed that Gladbach’s Max Kruse is one of the first names on Dortmund’s hit list.
The 26-year-old has become one of the most sought-after footballers in German Bundesliga, partly due to the fact that his release clause stands at mere €12 million.
Dortmund are, however, expected to face stiff competition for his signature, with the likes of Schalke, Wolfsburg and clubs from English Premier League also keen.
The Millionaires host Schalke in the Revierderby tomorrow afternoon and can be backed at 1/2 to make it four wins on the bounce.
Barca keep tabs on Fulgini
French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Valenciennes defender Angelo Fulgini.
The 18-year-old has been on the radar of former AC Milan official Ariedo Braida for quite a while and the new Barcelona sporting director now hopes to lure the youngster to Camp Nou.
The Catalans are not allowed to recruit new players before January 2016, but the talented footballer remains on their wish list.
Fulgini, who can operate in defence and midfield, has come through the youth ranks at Valenciennes, and first played for the reserves in May 2013.
He was since promoted to the senior set-up and has started a total of 6 matches in France’s second division.
Fulgini seems to have nailed down a regular starting berth and is currently gaining valuable match experience at senior level.
