Spanish giants Valencia are showing interest in Michy Batshuayi and Radamel Falcao Garcia, Superdeporte has learned.
Los Che coach Nuno Espirito Santo has had a number of meetings with club owners in Singapore during the international break, revealing his plans for the January transfer window.
According to Superdeporte, the Portuguese manager plans to get rid of Alvaro Negredo and Rodrigo de Paul and recruit a striker who would be able to help the team in the Champions League.
It would appear that Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi is one of the first names on club’s hit-list and he is eligible to play in Europe’s elite competition having represented OM in Europa League this term.
The Belgian footballer has been in fine form this season, netting 8 goals in 13 league appearances, but the problem is that he is now the only senior striker at Stade Velodrome.
If they fail to lure Batshuayi to Mestalla, Valencia officials will launch an assault on Radamel Falcao, who hasn’t made a single Champions League appearance this term and is almost certain to quit Chelsea in the winter.
